I don't have a huge readership but I know there are some regular readers who don't comment as well as those who feel moved enough to make a comment. I love hearing from you.
Sooooooo....
Please leave a comment telling us all about your most favourite Christmas present and why you loved it. In a week I will pick the one I like best and send you a wee Christmas pressie for your tree. (see, it is made of little people holding hands??? ohhhh)You can leave a comment with out being a blogger, just go anonymous and then we can hook up later.
Really looking forward to hearing from you all...Love Sally

hi sal, congrats on the 300th post. I'll start. I have been given some lovely pressies but one I remember is when the infamous Jamie gave me a pair of red Doc Marten shoes just after we had split up. Mmmm maybe he did 'get me' on some level after all.... too little too late pal, but loved the shoes and wore them for ages :) ... suprising gifts can make an impact. Axx
Hi Sally,
Really enjoying the blog. 300th post! Congrats. Best Christmas present? Hmm, call me a geek but I think it was the Commodore 64 I got as a kid. Copying code out of the back of magazines in order to play very lame games was the precursor to the geeky macros and spreadsheets I still play with today. Happy Christmas to you and your clan. Peach
a pure vibrantly bright Sally angel, that goes on the all white christmas tree.
Crikey dick, you've brought back some memories...it was my Girls World...did you have those in NZ? A big plastic head that had a hole in the crown where you pulled the hair through. Mine was a natural redhead...in fact this could be where my love of all things ginger began. There was make up and false eyelashes and hair clips and a pink brush and comb. My Girls World was called Ernestine which was the most elegant name I thought I'd ever heard (I was 9, don't judge)
This story unfortunately doesn't end happily...one afternoon I arrived home to find my little brother and his posse whooping around a broomstick totem pole in the garden. You've guessed it, the little monster had topped it off with my shorn Girls World complete with vivid warpaint.
I'm over it....sort of!
Congratulatons Sally on the big 3 oh oh. Like everyone else I've had some lovely presents from lovely people over the years, but I'll always remember the Christmas when I was pregnant and you gave me the Alison Holst baby/child cookbook (for the uninitiated it's cooking FOR children, not with them lol). I was sitting there quite largely pregnant, but it was such a lightbulb moment looking through that book and thinking 'oh my god' I'm going to be having a baby and then having to cook for it......!! Funnily enough, just before your post I was looking through some photos the other day and saw one from then. You and Nic came round to my folks. Anyway, roll on 300 more! K.xx.
Hi Sally, I feel terrible that I can't remember any Christmas gifts ever but I am putting it down to brain clog - clug - something - so much to do so little time brain overload ... But one gift that didn't actually arrive until boxing day but starting making her way on Christmas Day was Anika and that would have to be the bestest gift ever ! PS Congrats on the 300th - love reading your blogs.
